The Laughing Trunk Inc. offers a learning rich environment during school breaks for children ages 4 to 12 years old. Each camp program is one week in length and extended hours are available. Children will participate in both individual and group activities and create works of art based on weekly themes. Daily outdoor activities will be part of the full day program, weather permitting. There will be supervised morning, afternoon and lunch breaks that children are required to bring their own healthy and nut free food.

Full Day Camps – Monday to Friday
9:00am to 5:00pm – $210.00 + GST per week
Full Day Part Time – 9:00am to 5:00pm
Mon., Wed. & Fri. – $138.00+ GST
Tues., Wed., Thurs (with outing) – $138.00+ GST
Tuesday & Thursday – $ 96.00+ GST
Half Day Camps – Monday to Friday
9:00am to 12:00pm or 2:00pm-5:00pm – $105.00+ GST per week
Upgrade to include full day outing add $30.00
Extended Hours
8:00am-9:00am or 5:00pm to 6:00pm
$25.00 for one hour per week – or –
$40.00 for both hours per week

June 21 – 25: Junior Campers
Children ages 3 to 4 can join in on camp fun as they create art masterpieces and participate in drama games and activities.
Half day 9:00am-12:00pm only
June 21 – 25: Art Attack
All things creative. Using a wide variety of mediums children will get to explore the colourful world of art.
They will amaze themselves as they discover their own creative talents.
June 28 – July 2:–Wacky Island Adventure (4 day week-prices prorated)
Children will have fun joining a tribe and making a tribal flag and bandana.
They will be challenged to construct a shelter, hunt for treasure and make projects out of sand, rocks, shells and more.
July 5 – 9: Science Exploration
Children will explore and experiment with the world around them.
From learning about structures, flight and more. the children will get hands on and chart their findings. Back by popular demand our geyser.
Outing to CN Tower
July 12 – 16: Around The World
Discover the world around us as we stop at a different destination each day to learn and create as we join in local crafts and activities.
Children will have fun learning about instruments and music from around the world.
Outing to African Lion Safari
July 19 – 23: Back In Time
Children will have fun going back in time and learning about what life was like for cavemen to pioneers.
They will make their own mini chalkboards for school, do cave writings and more.
Outing to Black Creek Pioneer Village
July 26 – 30: Lights, Camera, Action
Roll out the red carpet!! It’s your child’s week to shine as they learn the basics skills of performing.
Children will discover their inner star qualities while participating in dramatic games and creating star quality works of art. An original performance at the end.
Outing to Solar Stage Children’s Theatre
August 3 – 6: Junior Chef 4 day week-prices prorated)
Children will enjoy being little chefs as they learn how to make no bake/nut free treats, including candy sushi.
They will also make crafts to complement the kitchen.
August 9 – 13: Eco Explorers
Enjoy learning about the world around us and discover how to appreciate the environment.
Children will enjoy doing Art in the Park and putting the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle into art concepts.
Outing to Bronte Creek
August 16 – 20: Junior Artist
Children will enjoy exploring a variety of art mediums and creating masterpieces along the way.
Pastels, Watercolours, Drawing, clay, sculptures, painting and more.
Outing to AGO
August 23 – 27: Castle Craze
Go back in time to discover life in a castle and games that were played.
Children will have a chance to make their own paper mache crests, mythical animals, and more.
Outing to Casa Loma
August 30 – Sept. 3: Under The Sea
Join us for a deep sea adventure!! We will search the sea through coral reefs for sunken treasures and discover the underwater world.
Outing to Marineland
Meal Plan – Two snacks and a lunch provided each day. $45.00 plus tax for the week.

Leader In Training
Our Leader in Training program will empower youth ages 12-14 years of age this summer as they learn valuable life skills.

PD Day & Early Release Day Camps (Ages 4-12)
9:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-12:00pm or 2:00pm-5:00pm
Children will participate in individual and group activities while creating works of art based on a weekly theme. There will be outdoor activities weather permitting and a pizza lunch included.
Extended hours available from 8-9 or 5-6m for $5.00 per hour.
If your child has a PD DAY that is not listed please call us and we can make arrangements for your child to participant in a program.
